Warm Thuis Zwolle has been around for 1 year: this is the result
This month, Warm Thuis Zwolle has been active for one year. We are happy about that, because in the past year we have made at least 430 houses more energy efficient. In this way we help people who cannot afford it themselves to reduce their energy bills.
Want to, but can’t
In the past year we noticed that people would like to save energy and insulate, but that they are not always able to do so. For example, there is no money to buy insulation material. Or it is not possible to place the materials, leaving it in the corner of the room. Because we offer the materials and have a handyman come by to install everything, we really make a difference. And we help people to change their habits. Our volunteer energy coaches therefore provide tailor-made advice when they view the home.
That’s how we do it
How do we make houses more energy efficient? We do this mainly by implementing small and large insulation measures. The energy coach maps out the status of the home and provides advice on how to save, after which a handyman or contractor Van Wijnen takes over the implementation. From radiator foil to LED lamps and from special double glazing to the replacement of energy-guzzling white goods, this is how the counter has stood since its one-year anniversary:
